Day 6: March 29, 2004 Bus riders visited a technical school in Toledo, participated in a rally for overtime pay in Cleveland and spoke to the press about the foreclosure crisis in America in Warren/Youngstown, Ohio.
Day 5: March 28, 2004 The Show Us the Jobs™ tour visited Michigan today, including Grand Rapids, Greenville and Detroit. At a rally for soon-to-be laid-off Electrolux workers in Greenville, bus rider Arlene from Pennsylvania shared her story. Today's video clip features her story.
Day 4: March 27, 2004 The day began with a town hall meeting in Manitowoc, Wis., attended by local community members who have been hard-hit by recent plant closings. Then, onto Tower Automotive in Milwaukee to talk with local media about the jobs crisis. The riders end the day in Chicago.
Day 3: March 26, 2004 On Friday, bus participants volunteered at a food pantry in Minneapolis, where the requests for food assistance have risen 10 percent in the past six months and talked about the nation's jobs crisis with high school and college journalists in La Crosse, Wis.
Day 2: March 25, 2004 Breakfast in Davenport, Iowa, with community leaders, then on to the Herbert Hoover Library-Museum and a moving gathering at a Des Moines church where bus riders shared stories of struggle.
Day 1: March 24, 2004 The Show Us the Jobs™ tour is under way as 51 bus riders gather in St. Louis to begin their journey to raise awareness about the jobs crisis in America.
